What a maintenance visit looks like
We start with the jobs that show most, like the lawn and edges. Then we work through the garden in order of priority: weeds before they seed, shrubs that need a trim, beds that need feeding or mulch. Before we leave, paths and decks get blown clean and green waste goes with us.
Because we come back regularly, small problems get caught early. A weed patch, a sprinkler that's stopped working, or a shrub that's struggling with frost all get noticed and dealt with.
Planned around the Mountains seasons
- Spring: first feeds after the last frost, weeding before weeds flower, mulch top-ups, and hedge shaping.
- Summer: keep fine fuels down, water-wise mulching, and deadheading.
- Autumn: leaf clean-ups (big jobs in Leura, Katoomba and Blackheath), bulb planting, and lifting mower height.
- Winter: rose, hydrangea and fruit-tree pruning, storm debris, and planning new plantings.
Weeds we keep out of Mountains gardens
The Blue Mountains sits inside the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area, and garden weeds spread easily into the bush. We watch for and remove common escapees like privet, blackberry, broom, montbretia, English ivy, cotoneaster, holly and agapanthus seed heads before they spread.
Good for holiday homes and rentals
Many Mountains homes are weekenders, holiday lets or rentals. Regular maintenance keeps them presentable for guests and inspections, and stops a garden getting away while you're not there. We can visit while you're away and send a quick update if anything needs your attention.

Garden Maintenance: common questions
How often should I book garden maintenance?
Fortnightly suits most family gardens through spring and summer, dropping to monthly in winter. Larger or formal gardens may need weekly visits in peak growing season.
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes. We bring all tools and equipment and take green waste away.
Can you look after my holiday home or Airbnb garden?
Yes. We maintain gardens for weekenders, holiday lets and rentals across the Mountains, so the property looks cared for when guests arrive.
Can I pause visits?
Yes. Let us know and we'll adjust the schedule, for example over a slow winter.
